One of the main goals of the “A Chance to Work” program is to promote corporate social responsibility of the Russia’s business community. IFC instigates all the companies to take part in the program not only as employers, but as co-financiers as well.
The First Czech-Russian Bank was the pioneer, which supported IFC’s initiative in 2006. The same year one of the world’s largest steel-producers EVRAZ Group offered IFC to start ACW in Nizhniy Tagil, city of Urals. And due to this cooperation the regional model of the program was created.
In 2007 PromSvyazCapital Group joined the program. The company decided to go beyond internships provision and support the program financially.
